My connection is slow. How do I ping the router to check my speed? |
| |
| If your connection is slow or not connecting to our router, you can perform 2 tests to determine if the issue is with your ISP.
1. Ping the server from a command prompt on your PC (look under Accessories for the command prompt): ping saprouter.majul.com. Slow connection times or timeouts indicate a problem with your ISP. 2. And, you can trace the route of your signal to see if there is a problem along the route. From the command prompt: tracert saprouter.majul.com. You will see up to 30 route connections between you and our server. Look for long connection responses or timeouts. Both commands will provide you information about your connection. Look for a timeout message. If you have one, contact your ISP, as there is a problem with your network and internet routing. |
